How can you find out which brand of implants you have?

By consulting the "patient card" you were given by your surgeon at the time of the operation, or by contacting your surgeon if you have mislaid it. Eurosilicone does not have this information.

Do Afssaps (French health products safety agency) recommendations concern Eurosilicone implants?

No, the problems which are in the news today are specific to PIP implants. Eurosilicone and its products have no connection with PIP. The measures recommended by the French authorities AFSSAPS concern people implanted with PIP implants. You are, however, advised to follow your surgeon's recommendations concerning your post-implantation follow-up.

I'm worried, I feel discomfort or pain in the area of my implants, what should I do?

Contact your surgeon for an appointment, or if he is no longer active or you have moved house since your operation, contact another plastic surgeon who will examine you.
